'Ityadi' is one of the most popular and the longest running magazine show on television. It has completed 27 years of transmission. It is the only BTV programme which is still very popular among viewers. Hanif Sangket, the man behind the programme, has become a familiar face in our media and is making a good contribution to help promote Bengali culture among the youth.
The TV show also presents talents who were hitherto unknown to the media world particularly in the fields of drama and music. In this sense it is a great talent hunting venture. Ityadi still enjoys surprising popularity among people from all walks of life. Viewers who do not normally tune in to BTV are surprisingly found to make it a point to watch Ityadi whenever it is telecast. It is the only programme of BTV which has lived so long and watched by all and sundry. Let us wish the popular anchor, producer, writer, entertainer and director of the programme Hanif Sangket a long life for production of many more episodes of Ityadi in the coming days. Ityadi not only entertains us, it also helps raise awareness among people on numerous social issues.
